Considering how rapidly mankind has been eliminating all other life on our garden planet, I have been toying with the fantasy that other, more advanced and enlightened space travelers have been quietly visiting earth and spiriting away “samples” of other life forms before we wipe them off the planet forever. Just a fantasy I know, but it makes me feel a little better.

In reality, when it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Any other notion is just fantasy.

Well my friends, this is clearly the end days of the American Century, as those in power obviously believe the only thing left of “American Exceptionalism” is our unique ability to create massively expensive weapon systems and project military power for our corporate clients. Like so many imperial powers throughout man’s bloody history, we are gradually collapsing under the strain of overinflated ambitions and dwindling national treasury. As for the human experiment, I see now that it too will continue on this course until it collapses under the strain of our overinflated ambitions and dwindling natural treasury. But the garden planet is resilient, and it will survive the Age of Man. Perhaps those of our species who remain will “re-awaken” to our long forgotten union with this fantastic garden and all of the other equally valuable life forms we share it with. I have come to the realization that this just might be exactly how it is supposed to go in order for our self regulating planetary ecosystem to restore equilibrium and “reset the matrix” for a next era of planetary evolution. As to why I am shouting “NO!” I simply can’t stand by and let the pricks think that at least some of us don’t see what they are up to. And frankly, it just feels good to stick a grass stained finger in their faces and snarl, “Get off my lawn!”
